Welcome to the Eclipse Yoga Centre

We look forward to meeting you.  You will find us on the main promenade of Dover.  A hidden jewel that lies under the main building of 1-3 Waterloo Crescent.  We are on the opposite end of the building to the Royal Yacht Club.  The entrance is around the back.  The main doors will be open 20 minutes before class starts and close 5 minutes after.  If you wish to come down to see the facilities please call beforehand as you may not get in if a class is in progress and we would not want you to waste a journey.  Information will be available in a dispenser outside if you are passing.

About Eclipse Yoga Centre

Located in Kent  on Dover sea front Eclipse Yoga Centre is easily accessible and is close to the town centre, station and main roads.  The Centre fulfils the dream of  teacher Caroline Purvey who has long wanted to offer her students and clients a venue that provides the ambiance not found elsewhere in the area, indeed such venues are very limited outside of London.

As well as studio space the Centre provides a private  room  for meditation.

The fully equipped Studio space is available for other teachers/therapists to hire at very competitive rates.

'I have been attending yoga classes with Caroline at the Eclipse Yoga Centre since January 2014. The Eclipse Centre offers a lovely warm, inviting, calm environment. It sets the right mood for the class which I felt when I first joined, Ii was important to me being new to yoga. Caroline makes you feel welcome and very much supported, she offers clear guidance to all levels of ability in her class so no one feels out of place or neglected. Her support and encouragement has inspired me and I feel in only 5 months I have developed my yoga skills from nothing to a level I didn't think possible in a short time.

Now the thing that I think most would like to hear about. I am 50 years old and I'm of an average build but since doing yoga I've lost over a stone in weight and have dropped 2 dress sizes. I got diagnosed with arthritis in some of my joints, which has eased greatly. suffered with back pain which I hardly ever notice now. My posture has improved immensely and I just feel so much better overall. My only regret is that I didn't start earlier but I've start now and I look forward to the class I do. After a class I feel energised unlike exercise classes where I just felt exhausted.'
