Welcome to the Eclipse Yoga Centre

We look forward to meeting you.  You will find us on the main promenade of Dover.  A hidden jewel that lies under the main building of 1-3 Waterloo Crescent.  We are on the opposite end of the building to the Royal Yacht Club.  The entrance is around the back.  The main doors will be open 20 minutes before class starts and close 5 minutes after.  If you wish to come down to see the facilities please call beforehand as you may not get in if a class is in progress and we would not want you to waste a journey.  Information will be available in a dispenser outside if you are passing.

'Yoga isn't something I thought I would ever find myself getting into, but after learning how to do yoga, I love it. For my own personal benefit, I have noticed that my body and mind are becoming much more settled. I have struggled for the past 20 years with an illness, that impacts on my physical, mental and emotional being. Exercise was out of the question, because I was too fatigued and weak to do any. However, after learning to do yoga, which I have been doing for nearly a year now, I am amazed at how much I have changed in myself. I feel better in myself both mentally and physically. My body feels leaner and more agile. My joints feel more fluid and don't ache, I feel taller, calmer and more energised. I love that yoga is a slow-moving exercise, that has really helped me.

The atmosphere in the class is relaxed, but at the same time, everyone is focused. Caroline, our yoga teacher, is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful in classes, whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned yogi, she will guide you through each element when doing yoga postures. From teaching breathing technique to how to hold a yoga posture, to her soothing voice during the relaxation process at the end of the session, I enjoy every aspect. Caroline is a very warm and welcoming Lady, who has helped me greatly in my own journey.

If anyone asked me, would I recommend trying yoga, then I would say yes. The benefits you will feel after are amazing. So try the Eclipse Yoga Centre and see for yourself, how much better you can feel. I am sure you will be glad you made the right decision, just like I did.'
