Caroline runs the Centre and is pleased to be able to offer quality teaching and services in the interests of the needs of the community.  All teachers at the centre are fully trained and experienced in their field and are all self-employed practitioners.



Yogaweb3Caroline has practiced yoga for over 26years has over 24 years experience in teaching and is well-respected in her field.  Her early training was in  Iyengar with the YYI (SA) she then went on to study further with the British Wheel with whom she is also a Diploma Course Teacher Trainer. Though Iyengar is her main influence she draws from a more eclectic range of styles to suit the needs of students. Read More


DarrenYou could say it was a vision into the future which ignited Darren’s interest in yoga!  Growing up on the family farm, and watching his father slowly finding movement more challenging; Darren has the first-hand experience on how day-to-day activity can have a negative impact on the body.

15 years ago Darren decided to take action and yoga felt like the right way.  5 years into his personal practice he embarked on a life-changing teacher training course with The Victor Foundation.  He hasn’t looked back.  Darren has a dynamic yet relaxed and mindful approach.  His sessions are open and friendly with a focus on general mobility and core stability.

Amanda has practiced yoga for twenty years.  She has studied with a range of teachers from various schools and countries; including Asia and Europe. After initial training in 2004,  she traveled extensively overseas.  In 2006 Amanda completed a very intensive one-month yoga course and retreat at Agama Yoga, Koh Phangan Thailand.  Return to the UK in 2007 she continued to practice yoga with various teachers in Surrey.  Following her completion of the British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course, BSY Hatha Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapy training and I am currently training on the BWY Level 4 Certificate in Yoga Teaching course.

Amanda is also one of the only accredited Bellyfit ® instructors currently teaching in the UK. Bellyfit ® is a holistic fitness programme, designed for women, which draws inspiration from both dance and yoga. Amanda’s teaching has benefited from years of her own exploration into yoga and is keen to share her skills with us at Eclipse.  She believes by bringing an effective yoga practice for ‘every day’ population it can bridge the gap between modern day challenges.


Vicki started her Yoga practice as a teenager.  Over the years her practice has provided her with a counterbalance, both mentally and physically, to modern life with its abundant distractions and demands. She has found that a regular yoga practice provides the tools to calm the busy mind and reconnecting with the present moment as well as physically building strength, flexibility, balance and improved posture.
Vicki has recently completed teacher training with Yoga London. Her classes aim to create a friendly and relaxed space for students to explore their own experience of yoga in order to benefit their lives.
Marilyn has been practicing yoga since 2002 when she had the opportunity to attend classes provided by her employer as part of a wellness program. She was instantly impacted by the overall experience: the physical movement, the attention to the breath and the resulting feeling of ease.
Retiring from work at the end of 2017 and returning to the U.K. from
California U.S.A, she took the opportunity to embark on a 200-hour yoga teacher training program with Parampara School of Yoga in Beckenham, Kent. Marilyn has practiced with several teachers in Los Angeles, California as well as continuing her practice as part of the Eclipse Yoga community here in Dover. She hopes to inspire all students to open their mind
to yoga and embrace listening and accepting their own bodies while feeling joy and bringing a lightness to their lives. “Every practice will teach you something if you allow it.”

The Total Release Experience® is a 5 Step Programme empowering all who learn to release from physical, mental or emotional symptoms from stress and trauma. It is an empowering ‘no talking’ practice that is innate in every human being.  It leads to better health on all levels.
